ISS World Mining Camp Food Truck

Facility services company ISS World offer a range of services to their clients, including on-site catering at remote mining camps. They commissioned Bella Manufacturing to manufacture a giant, 6-metre food truck equipped to serve meals all day, every day for employees and contractors at one of their sites, Their focus is on preparing and serving fresh, cooked-on-the-spot food using local ingredients wherever possible, with the belief that good food supports health and productivity.

With a range of food service offerings across multiple industries including restaurants and coffee bars; hospitality and event catering; vending machines and fine dining; food trucks add one more string to the bow for this forward-thinking global organisation.

The truck is fitted with durable, commercial-grade equipment for sustained capacity and frequency of use, the truck’s interior includes a combi-oven, gas griddle, deep fryers, a salamander grill and much more. Prep and storage fridges plus freezers, a bain marie and a microwave makes food preparation and correct storage a cinch. With this food truck, the ISS team are equipped to feed the masses a range of different items and options from the comfort of an air-conditioned pod.

For service, the truck features a lift up servery window, a roof mounted awning and a fold out bench at the servery. There are also external LED lights for after-dark or early morning activity and mine-site specific requirements such as flags and beacons to comply with safety, function and operations requirements.

As with all Bella-made units, this truck has been designed and engineered in Queensland to comply with Australian Standards.
