Brand Activation

How brand activation can take your business to new heights

Brand activation may come across as a meaningless marketing buzzword, however it’s a fundamental element of developing a successful and well-known brand. This type of marketing can be applied to both new and existing businesses. Essentially, brand activation refers to the process of making your brand known to people and increasing awareness and engagement through some kind of brand experience.

For those starting their brand from the beginning, the brand is effectively lifeless, and it needs to be ‘activated’ before it can have any use. With an existing brand that wants to rebrand itself, a few small changes may not be sufficient to make people notice. It has to go through the process of making people recognise and become aware of their new brand.

So, the question is, how do you ‘activate’ a brand?

Brand activation can be achieved through a range of products offered at Bella Manufacturing. Being the leading manufacturer in Australia, we have worked with many businesses to take their brand to the next level. Some of these include Boost Juice, Nestle (Milo), Lions Club, Uncle Toby’s, Merlo, Maggi, Harley Davidson and so many more.

How can a business create greater brand awareness and engagement? Taking your business mobile enables you to take your brand to the right person, at the right time. Creating brand awareness is all about creating a lasting memory whether that’s through an image, a message or an experience. Here are just a couple of examples of how our product can help take your brand to new heights.

Sampling Campaign

Giving people the opportunity to try your new products can be a great way to introduce people to your brand. The key factor is to make your campaign creative to ensure the best results and return on investment (ROI). For example, Nestle wanted to expand the market for their existing product Milo. Traditionally known as a cold, chocolate beverage generally marketed to young people, they wanted to show and sample this same product as a hot chocolate beverage for not only young people but also for adults. By taking this campaign mobile they were able to bring their product to festivals, carnivals and sporting events to expand their customer demographic.

Mobile Billboard Campaign

The purpose of a mobile unit may vary between brands, however, no matter the purpose, your unit will always act as a mobile billboard. Whether you’re a new or existing business, creating brand awareness will make you ‘top of mind’ so customers will want to research or buy your product. For example, Salsa’s being a well-known fast food Mexican restaurant, they wanted to take their business mobile and expand brand awareness. Their bold colours have acted as a statement piece for their mobile unit, making it one to stand out in a crowd. Through this campaign they have successfully been able to share their passion for great food by taking their product directly to the customer that may not travel to a traditional Salsas store.

Experiential Campaign

Creating an exciting and memorable experience can create a lifetime of brand awareness and loyalty. People want to be able to see, touch, smell, taste and hear your product. For example, Maggi used their unique trailer set up (with huge fold out wings for greater brand awareness) to demonstrate and sample their new range of ready to use, Asian inspired, stir-fry sauces. They enabled their customers to interact with their product, creating a fun cooking experience that is desirable to take into their own home.
