
B&D To You: A Premium Mobile Showroom
For more than 80 years, B&D Australia has led the way in garage door design and manufacturing. With B&D To You, they’ve taken that leadership one step further, launching a premium mobile showroom that delivers the full instore
experience straight to customers’ driveways.
Bella Manufacturing was engaged to continue this vision to life and as the first physical touchpoint for many customers, the vehicle fitout needed to do more than function. It needed to instantly reflect B&D’s premium brand,
quality, and service. Every element of the mobile showroom has been purpose designed to build trust, showcase craftsmanship, and simplify decision making for homeowners.
B&D had recognised that customers often struggled to visualise their final garage door from small samples or brochures, and motorised functionality was typically chosen without seeing or experiencing the options in action. The mobile showroom has changed this experience entirely.
Custom cabinetry displays large-format colour and material samples, helping customers confidently select a door that suits their home in full daylight, not fluorescent shop lighting. Two fully operational motorised units are installed inside the vans, each running a different motor option. Customers can watch them cycle, listen to them operate, and compare them side by side in real time, removing guesswork and supporting more informed purchasing decisions.
Bella Manufacturing’s design team developed a bespoke fit-out to safely manage the weight, power and compliance requirements of the fully operational motorised door within a mobile environment, without compromising on presentation or usability.
Accessibility and comfort were also prioritised. A fold-down step with safety handles enables easy entry and exit, while integrated lighting and adjustable ventilation ensure a welcoming, functional and professional showroom for both customers and staff whatever the weather.
