The Juluwarlu Group Food Truck Western Australia Fitout Project
Juluwarlu Group is an Aboriginal owned and operated archive, arts, language, culture and community centre for the Jindjibarndi Nation. Juluwarlu’s purpose is to collect, sustain and promote knowledge of Yindjibarndi culture for future generations with services including archiving, language preservation and mapping of country.
The custom-built, 5m truck is Bella’s first 4WD vehicle, designed and built to withstand rugged outback conditions as it services remote communities in Roebourne, Cheeditha and Ngurrawaana. The interior has been equipped with quality components including gas fryer, hotplate, and burner with oven. It also features a glass hot food display and coffee machine. Underbench fridges and freezers, stainless steel benchtops and stainless steel sinks mean food storage, preparation and cleanliness is taken care of.
As with all Bella-made units, this truck is designed and engineered in house to suit project specifications and comply with Australian standards using food grade insulated panels, food grade flooring and commercial electrical and gas installation and certification. The truck is powered by an Eniquest Stockman 100 8kW Generator Aluminium and a check plate trim surrounds the body perimeters for long-term body protection in a tough environment.
