Le Relais Bressan is a well-known and much loved restaurant in Flaxton, a village in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, serving authentic French cuisine and delicious pastries. To help expand their business, the owner approached Bella Manufacturing to build a 4.7m food trailer capable of taking their Gallic goodness to the people.

As with all of our builds, this food trailer has been custom designed, specific to the needs of the business. It features quality components throughout to withstand the rigour of commercial cooking and has been designed and built to meet Australian standards. The food service pod has been constructed with 50mm food grade insulated panel and includes commercial gas and electrical installation and certification.

A four-burner cooktop and four-tray convection oven do the heavy lifting and are housed under a custom commercial exhaust canopy. The Moffatt Turbofan oven offers digital display time and temperature controls; electronic thermostat, burner ignition and timer; and a bi-directional fan motor, among many other features. Also fitted into this commercial kitchen on wheels are a two-door under bench freezer, an upright fridge/freezer and a benchtop chilled display with removable back doors – an easy-clean unit perfect for showcasing pastries and other temptations with maximum exposure.

The trailer has also been fitted with coffee machine, grinder, knock box and jug rinser to offer delicious hot coffee, a perfect accompaniment to a sweet treat.

With stainless steel benchtops throughout, under bench and bulkhead storage plus wall shelving fitted, this food trailer is a self-contained mobile commercial kitchen ready to cater for functions and events with ease.
