The Rural Fire Service Catering Food Truck Fit Out NSW

The NSW Rural Fire Service provides fire and emergency services to over 95% of the state. Their employees and 70,000+ volunteers are dedicated to minimising the impact of fire and other other emergencies on the environment and community.

The Northern Rivers branch of the RFS appointed Bella Manufacturing to build a custom catering truck for use at training and community events as well as for use when firefighting emergencies take place. The 5m food service pod was constructed from Australian steel, cool room food grade insulated panel and food grade flooring designed to comply with ANZFSA 3.2.3 (food premise design) standards.

The custom designed interior features a range of equipment designed to withstand the needs of a commercial catering facility, including stainless steel benching, griddle oven, deep fryer, salamander, bain-marie and fridge and freezer facilities for food prep and storage as well as beverages.

As with all Bella-built catering units, water pumps, hot water system, hand wash sink, prep sinks and commercial gas installation and certification are among the standard inclusions. With safety being paramount, electrical works are completed by independent qualified and certified professionals, with dedicated power board and fuse box controls to Australian standards. Our specified generators are built ‘on board’, best in class generators, designed for mobile use to be used whilst in transit.
