Llewellyn Motors Smoko Ute project
This tray-back smoko ute will be used for promotional purposes at Llewellyn Motors’ car yard to serve lucky visiting customers as they browse. It is a custom built, Australian steel aluminium tray mounted on a cab chassis ute. With three large lift up doors on gas struts with keyed locks, this unit gives a large food-grade stainless steel workbench area and scope for more display space than a traditional van.
It has a pull-out Heatlie BBQ, originally designed for professional chefs, on slide out rails. The griddle’s unique burner system features two long horizontal burners covering the entire plate, producing an even burn with little or no cool spots. Two double-door fridges are incorporated for food storage and cold drinks.
The ute also includes a required hand wash sink with hot water, soap and towel dispenser, fresh and wastewater tanks and a rechargeable energy system to run the electrical components.
Designed, engineered and built in-house to comply with individual specifications, Australian standards and ANZFSA 3.2.3 (food premise design), all of our builds also include commercial gas and electrical installation and certification.
Now any day is a sausage sandwich day for visitors to the Llewellyn Motors car yard!
