Food trailer for Vietnam Veterans’ Foundation of Australia

Vietnam Veterans’ Foundation of Australia have built a magnificent food trailer that will be used for fundraising and serving delicious food to the members of the VVFA and surrounding community. VVFA are an organisation designed to assist serving, transitioning and ex-service members of the Australian Defence Force and their families with claiming military compensation. They strive to assist veterans and their families to understand and receive their rights. For VVFA to continue to give back to the community, projects such as this food trailer are only feasible by the donations and funding they receive.

Their 6-metre, dual axle walk-in trailer is designed as a self-contained mobile commercial kitchen. It enables an enclosed working environment with service through a large, custom servery window. A rooftop air-conditioning unit ensures a comfortable temperature inside, whatever the weather outdoors.

This trailer features internal and external LED lighting to allow for evening operation, fold out trailer steps and trailer stabiliser legs. Equipment includes a 4-bay benchtop heated display, chip warmer, chest freezers, a two-drawer under bench fridge, deep fryers, a griddle and much more.

As with all Bella-manufactured vehicles, the trailer has received approved and Certified Gas installation by an independent, qualified and certified Gas installer, with all gas appliances approved to Australian Code. Likewise, all electrical work has been completed by an independent, qualified and certified professional. A dedicated power board and fuse box control conforms to Australian standards and an exterior ventilation system is included for on board refrigeration, to ensure correct operation, correct food storage temps and lower running costs.

Bella Manufacturing were delighted to assist with this project for the Foundation and have built a trailer designed to support their fundraising efforts for many years to come.
